Britany created High-Intensity Barre to provide a program option that incorporates both Barre sequences and traditional bodyweight exercises that you can follow from the comfort of home.
High-Intensity Barre will help you improve your full body strength, improve your cardiovascular fitness and help you feel more energised. The program provides workouts to suit intermediate skill levels and would be well suited if you have previously completed Britany’s Barre program and would like an increase in progressive challenges within your training.
How is High-Intensity Barre different from Barre with Britany?
High-Intensity Barre is a fusion of both strength training and barre. This program takes the flow, repetition and burn of barre but layers in a lot more traditional strength training movements.
The High-Intensity Barre classes are shorter, higher in intensity, have fewer breaks provided during the workout and are more focused on cardiovascular fitness and strength building.
What equipment is required to complete High-Intensity Barre with Britany?
- Chair (Barre)
- Yoga Mat
- Dumbbells
- Resistance Band (Small Loop)
If you don’t have access to the equipment, what can you use instead?
Dumbbells: Two safe, heavy objects can be used, such as bags of food, water bottles, or other household items - get creative!
Resistance Band: You can omit the resistance band altogether or swap for a recovery band as these two items are interchangeable.
When selecting alternatives, it is important to ensure that they are both safe and secure prior to commencing your workout.
What is involved with High-Intensity Barre with Britany?

Full Body Cardio (25-35 Minutes)
Full Body cardio includes cardio sequences combined with plyometric exercises to increase your heart rate.

Warm-Ups and Cool Downs (optional)
Warm-ups and cool-downs are already built into the workout and are unique to each session.
