What is Ramadan Reset with Ruba Ali?
Ramadan Reset with Ruba is a strength training program designed for women who want to stay active and feel good during Ramadan without the stress of exhausting workouts. It focuses on realistic, low-impact sessions while respecting the spiritual and physical commitments of the month.
This program is suitable for all fitness levels, allowing you to listen to your body and adjust the intensity based on what feels right for you. Ruba is here to help you reset, reflect, reconnect and refocus over 5 weeks.
What is involved in Ramadan Reset with Ruba Ali?
Ruba recommends three resistance sessions per week, however, these are all optional for those who wish to exercise at a frequency that feels manageable for them.
Each session typically lasts between 20-30 minutes, focusing on core strength, compound movements, and functional exercises. This makes it a great low-impact program with minimal high-intensity-based exercises. The workout structure complements Ruba's Thrive program.
Additionally, Ruba includes at least one low-intensity steady state (LISS) cardio session per week, such as a walk in nature or breath work, with additional options available if needed. There are also two designated rest days and a rehabilitation session, with more available if required.

To efficiently complete this program, you will need the following equipment:

How do the workouts work?
This program features activity-style sessions led by Ruba, structured with a warm-up, three circuits of three exercises, plus an optional finisher that allows you to adjust the intensity of your workout based on your energy levels. There is a strong focus on body weight, low-impact strength, and cardio exercises.

Why is Ramadan Reset a 5 week program, and what is the Warm-Up Week?
Ruba designed Ramadan Reset with an optional Warm-Up week before the main 4-week program begins to give you the option of getting started and familiarising yourself with the workouts before Ramadan, like a foundation week seen in other Sweat programs. In the Sweat app, you'll be prompted to select your starting point based on the calendar date.
