Purchasing these fraudulent products and services not only compromises your personal information such as your name, credit card information, username and password, but also puts you at risk of incurring further unauthorised charges.

We recommend practising these steps to help stay you safe online:

• Be sceptical! 
• Inspect website links (URLs) carefully to make sure they’re legitimate and not imposter sites
• Do not click on links or attachments from senders that you do not recognise
• Think before you click
• Protect your computer with a firewall, spam filters, anti-virus and anti-spyware software
• Install an anti-phishing toolbar in your web browser
