What is Kaylas 3-Week Ab Burn Challenge?
Kayla’s 3-Week Ab Burn Challenge combines her original HIIT style workouts with full-body movements that will engage your core throughout each workout, maximising energy output and giving that ab burn feeling! Not only will this benefit your abs, but it will also improve your strength, stability and posture. These workouts run for 15-20 minutes and can be completed anywhere as it requires zero equipment. It is perfect for when you are short on time and will leave you feeling strong, capable and ready to take on the day.
What is involved in Kaylas 3 Week Ab Burn Challenge?
You will be provided with the following goals each week:
- 3x Resistance sessions
- 2x Cardio sessions ( 3 available )
- 1x Recovery session
What equipment will I need to complete Kaylas 3 week Ab Burn Challenge?
You will not require any equipment at all! This challenge incorporates bodyweight exercises so that your workouts can be completed anywhere — at home, in the gym or outdoors!
You will only require enough space to move around and a towel since this program will make you Sweat!
How do the workouts work?
Ab Burn ( 15- 20 minutes )
This workout consists of two tri-sets and one superset to finish. In each tri-et, you will complete three exercises for the required amount of reps or time for three laps taking a 30-second rest between laps, followed by a 1-minute rest break in between each tri-set. You will end with the Superset with two time-based exercises for 3 laps.
Complete Core ( 15-20 minutes )
In the Complete Core workout, you will complete 7 exercises for the time required, for 4 laps with a 45-second rest in between each lap.
Strength, Cardio & Abs ( 15- 20 minutes )
You will complete two Tri Sets followed by a Core Triset to finish. In the tri-sets, you will complete three exercises for the required amount of reps for three laps, followed by a 1-minute rest between each tri-set. To finish, you will follow 3 core exercises for the required amount of time for 3 laps.
Warm Up’s
The warm-ups include mobility exercises, dynamic stretches and anaerobic exercises, to get your body ready to go! Before starting your workout, you are presented with 4 warm-up options:
- Cardio (your choice of cardio)
- Cardio & Movement (your choice of cardio, mobility and dynamic stretches)
- Movement only (mobility exercise and dynamic stretches)
- No Warm-up
It’s really important to warm up before your workout to prevent the risk of any potential injury.
Cool Downs
At the end of each workout, a cooldown is provided. The cooldowns are just as important to help promote recovery, prevent injury, improve flexibility and promote even blood flow throughout your body!
