View your workouts on a bigger screen with Sweat for Apple TV! Simply visit the Apple TV App Store and download the Sweat app to get started.
The Sweat app for Apple TV is only available for Apple TV generation 2 and above.
How do I sign up and log in to my account?
When you open the Sweat app, you will be presented with an option to Login or to Sign Up.
To log in to an existing account, you have three ways of doing so. You can either choose to:
- log in using the email address you had used to create your account
- log in through your Facebook account, or
- log in with an Activation Code.
Simply select your preferred option and follow the on-screen prompts, or sign up with your details.
If using an Activation Code, select the 'Activation Code' option. Once you have received the code on your TV, open the following link join.sweat.com/activate on a separate device and log in to your account. You will then see a screen to enter your activation code to connect your account.
How do I start?
To begin, simply select the workout you have chosen for that day and follow the prompts on your TV. You will be presented with an overview screen before beginning your workout, where you will be able to see what exercises are involved and what equipment is required for that workout.
Are the same features available?
The programs currently available on Apple TV include:
- High Intensity with Kayla
- High Intensity Strength with Kayla
- PWR by Kelsey Wells
- PWR Post-Pregnancy, and
- BAM with Sjana
*Please note, Kayla's 8-week High Intensity Beginner program is not available on Apple TV.
Currently, you are only able to access the Workouts feature in the Apple TV version of the Sweat app. The Food, Planner, Progress and Community features are not available.
Mirror your iPhone/iPad
If you have an Apple TV and would like to access all Sweat programs, you will be able to select 'Screen Mirroring’ in your Apple Control Centre. To be able to do this simply follow our steps below.
- Turn on Apple TV and connect to WiFi
- Connect iPhone to the same WiFi
- Swipe down on iPhone device to show Control Centre
- Select ’Screen Mirroring’
- Select Apple TV you wish to connect to
- Enter the code provided, iPhone screen then mirror your TV.
This will show as a vertical image for all program except for the following:
These will show as horizontal on your TV screen.
How do I navigate with the Apple TV remote?
If at any point you wish to return to the main dashboard or go back a step, click the 'Menu' button on the Apple TV remote. However, during a workout, clicking the 'Menu' button will bring up a detailed description of how to complete the current exercise.
If during a workout you wish to pause your current activity, simply click the 'Play/Pause' button on your Apple TV remote.
How do I cancel my subscription?
To cancel your Sweat app subscription through Apple TV, you will need to cancel your subscription from within your Apple ID settings. Apple explains how to do this in their Support Centre.
