The SWEAT app is now available through Apple TV!
No longer are you limited to smaller, hand-held devices or computer screens to access your SWEAT subscription - you can now workout using your Apple TV! Simply go to the Apple TV app Store and download the SWEAT app to get started.
When you open up the SWEAT app, you will be presented with an option to Login or to Sign Up.
To Login to an existing account, you have 3 ways of doing so. You can either choose to: log in using the email address you had used to create your account, log in through your Facebook account or to log in with an Activation Code.
Simply select the option you would prefer and follow the on-screen prompts or enter your details.
If using an activation code, select the activation code option. Once you have received your code on your TV, open the following link: join.sweat.com/activate on a separate device and log into your account. You will then see a screen to enter your activation code to connect your account.
How to work out
To begin working out, simply select the workout you have chosen for that day and follow the prompts to start. You will be presented with an overview screen before beginning your workout, where you will be able to see what exercises are involved, and what equipment is required for the workout.
Unfortunately, not all features that are available in the normal SWEAT app are currently available on the Apple TV SWEAT app.
Currently, you are only able to use the Workouts feature of the SWEAT app. The Food, Activity, Progress and Community features are not available at this time.
If at any point you wish to return to the main dashboard, or go back a step, click the 'Menu' button on the Apple TV remote. During a workout however, clicking the 'Menu' button will bring up a detailed description of how to complete the current exercise.
If during a workout you wish to pause your current activity, simply click the 'Play/Pause' button on your Apple TV remote.
To cancel your SWEAT subscription through the Apple TV, you will need to cancel your subscription from within your Apple ID settings, Apple explain how to do this in their support centre here https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT202039
In this instance as you have registered via the Apple Store, Apple have full control over your subscription and we are unable to alter, manage or cancel your subscription.
However, if you follow the simply steps provided by Apple you will be able to easily unsubscribe from renewals.
