The Forum is a great place to share ideas, engage in discussion of health and fitness topics, reach out to the wider Sweat community and learn new information provided within our blogs!
The Forum can be accessed by tapping the icon at the top of the screen on the far left, in the Community section of the Sweat app.
To interact with the community in the Forum, you will need to create a username. You will be prompted to do so upon accessing the Community section for the first time.
To start a new post, tap the icon to the right of the search bar. You will be prompted to enter a subject for your post and tag the most relevant topics. You will also have the ability to upload photos to your new post!
You can use the filter icon to the left of the search bar to filter specific discussion topics, as well as to sort the order in which posts are displayed. By default, the sort by order will always be set to ‘Latest’.
To comment on an existing thread, simply enter the post and add your response in the field at bottom of the thread, and hit 'Post'.
To tag a user in a post or a comment, use the ‘@’ symbol followed by the username. This will notify the user that they have been mentioned via the notification section.
Notifications can be accessed by tapping the 'notification' icon, just above the forum icon. You will receive notifications when a user comments on a post that you follow, or tags you in a post/comment.
Blogs can be easily accessed by selecting the middle icon, to the right of the forum icon.
Select the topic you wish to view or use the search feature at the top of the page, to find a specific blog post. Choose a blog post to open it and Follow, Like or Comment!
You can use the filter icon to the left of the search bar to filter blogs from a specific trainer or a Sweat contributor, as well as to sort the order of which the blogs are displayed. By default, blogs will appear in ‘Most Recent’ order.
Finally, the Education section can be accessed by tapping the icon to the far right, next to the blog icon, within the Community section of the Sweat app.
Here you will be able to browse useful information to help you better understand the exercises and workouts incorporated within the Sweat programs, nutritional information to assist you with creating a diet to complement your training, as well as handy meal tips.
