A yoga mat for all of your BAM/Yoga sessions will be essential for your practice.
We also recommend using a yoga block to help reduce the difficulty of poses throughout your practice with Sjana.
In Beginner Weeks 1-4, there are a number of sequences where Sjana will show you how to use a block.
Keep in mind the block is not a tool purely for beginners! The block is there to aid you in your yoga practice regardless of where you are on your journey, beginner or advanced!
Sjana often incorporates a block into her practice and finds it helps with attaining or maintaining proper alignment and is wonderful to use for a gentler approach to your yoga practice.
We also recommend a yoga bolster to increase comfort during your Yin yoga (rehabilitation) sessions.
You could also incorporate a yoga bolster or yoga strap into your workouts!
If you have a yoga wheel, you can also include this if you know how. You can make your yoga practice entirely YOURS! Again, we recommend you only use additional equipment if you are trained in how to do so properly and safely.
