Being that yoga is a low-intensity form of exercise, it could be completed alongside other forms of training. However, it’s important to be mindful that you are not overtraining and are giving your body a chance to rest and recover.
Yoga is a whole-body workout and does work all areas of your body through strengthening postures, balancing poses, flexibility stretches and "flows".
We find yoga is a complete workout all on its own, however if you feel you would also like to add in a little more cardio or high-intensity training, we recommend going for a walk, run or bike ride outside to get some sunshine and fresh air!
