The target age for the programs and meal plan within the Sweat app is designed for women aged 16-25. However, this doesn't mean the programs are limited only to women within this age range! The same content and information can still be suitable for many women older than this - we've had women up to 50 years of age follow both plans and achieve great success!
If you are over the target age and want to get started on your health and fitness journey with Sweat, we recommend acknowledging your limits, listening to your body and making modifications to suit your capabilities.
In regards to the meal plan, this has been designed to meet the macronutrient (protein, carbohydrate and fat) needs of women who have goals to lose weight/fat.
For women who fall outside the specified range or who have certain health conditions, your nutritional needs may be different. Therefore, as specified in the Education section of the Sweat app, this would be a situation where multivitamins or supplements may be required.
Overall, we recommend to consult your healthcare professional prior to beginning any new nutrition or training program to ensure you will be able to make these modifications to suit you and your needs.
